KUCCPS opens portal for second revision of universities and courses

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its online portal for the second revision of universities and courses.
In a statement on Saturday, May 31, 2025, KUCCPS indicated that the new window will allow students who recently revised their choices to make fresh changes to their selections.
For the second revision, KCSE holders who applied for college programmes and did not get their preferred choices will get another shot to pick new institutions of higher learning.
The placement service further announced that KCSE holders who did not apply for courses in the previous openings would also be considered.
“The KUCCPS application system is open for the Second Revision of University, College and Programme choices. KCSE holders who have not applied for courses or those who applied but were unsuccessful are invited to apply,” the placement service stated.
The system will close on June 7, 2025.
“To access the portal, visit the KUCCPS website http://kuccps.ac.ke and click the tab Student’s Portal,” KUCCPS advised the students.

Form Four leavers who attained mean grades of C+ and above in the 2024 KCSE examination are eligible to do a second revision of their courses and institutions.
Those who qualified for university admission and got placed in diploma programmes recently can also do a second revision.
First revision
The second revision comes just three days after KUCCPS closed the first exercise on May 27, 2025.

The previous exercise targeted those who failed to secure courses in the previous application period that closed on April 30, 2025.
“Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) online application system is open for Revision of Choices for placement of students to universities and colleges for the 2025/2026 placement cycle,” KUCCPS announced then
“Applicants who did not secure a course in the application that ended on April 30, 2025, are invited to log in again and choose remaining courses as listed on the portal,” it added.
