Inside Kalonzo’s campaign platform where supporters can donate ahead of 2027
Wiper Patriotic Front party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has unveiled an online donation website aimed at mobilising financial support from well-wishers as he launched his 2027 presidential campaign platform.
The key feature of the newly launched campaign website is a donation section branded as “This Campaign Is Powered by You,” encouraging supporters to contribute directly to the campaign.
The platform was launched on Saturday, June 6, 2026, and it offers preset contribution options ranging from Ksh500, Ksh1,000, Ksh2,500, Ksh5,000 and Ksh10,000, alongside a secure online payment system.

The campaign message emphasises that every contribution reaches every county, suggesting a grassroots funding strategy for nationwide mobilisation efforts.
The website’s donation appeal positions ordinary citizens as direct stakeholders in the campaign, a model increasingly adopted by political campaigns globally.
Apart from asking for donations, the website also tells the story about Kalonzo Musyoka, his track record and his agenda. It further provides news updates about Kalonzo and his campaign strategies, schedule of events, gallery and online shop where supporters can get his branded merchandise.
The campaign launch platform
Kalonzo used the event to outline his vision for the country, positioning himself as a unifying figure capable of steering Kenya through economic and governance challenges.

His campaign rollout coincides with fresh opinion polls that place him among the leading contenders in what is shaping up to be a highly competitive race.
According to the latest Trends and Insights for Africa (TIFA) survey conducted between May 2 and May 11, 2026, President William Ruto remains the frontrunner in presidential preference ratings with 24 per cent support.
Kalonzo defence on opposition leaders missing his launch
Kalonzo has stated that the non-attendance of the United Alternative Government leaders to his launch should not be interpreted as divisions within the coalition.

“Allow me to salute my co-principals in the United Alternative Government and to thank them sincerely for standing together as a strong team which has sworn to stand with Kenyans,” Kalonzo said.
“I actually had debated whether to invite them, and I said maybe once we have sorted out this issue about flagship. But for now, I know that they are all watching. They are a wonderful team,” he stated.
