Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has pledged to carry forward the legacy of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, urging young Kenyans to take up the mantle of leadership and drive transformative change in the country.

In a heartfelt message shared on his official X account on Thursday, November 20, 2025, Amisi reflected on his unwavering support for Raila throughout his political journey.

“I stood with Baba when nobody was willing to stand with him. I went against all odds to fight for his presidency, because I believed in his power and inherent commitment to transform this nation called Kenya!” he wrote.

With the passing of Raila Odinga, Amisi emphasised the responsibility of the younger generation to continue the work he started.

Amisi further described the moment as a historic opportunity for renewal, noting that the country is at a turning point. “The stars are aligned, the moment and the time is nigh.
