Nairobi City Stars welcome Mose, Japanese forward Kusaba out of AFC Leopards match
Nairobi City Stars have finalized their 20-man travelling squad for the upcoming match against AFC Leopards at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
Brian Mose Nyambane returns to the squad after missing the last four outings, taking the place of Newton Ochieng, who is getting some rest this weekend.

The club has confirmed that seven players will be unavailable for the match. The list of absentees includes Japanese forward Yuto Kusaba, who was recently cleared to play for the club but will have to wait longer for his debut in the FKF Premier League.
Kelvin Etemesi is ruled out due to illness, along with Ochieng, Rooney Kola, Julius Ombacho, Gilbert Abala, and Abuyeka Kubasu.
This away game against AFC Leopards will be Nairobi City Stars’ first since May 29, 2023, when they played at Nyayo Stadium.
In that match, Etemesi scored a second-half brace to secure a 2-1 victory and help the team avoid relegation from the top tier.
The upcoming match will mark the 26th top-flight encounter between Nairobi City Stars and AFC Leopards since 2005.
