Gor Mahia’s new signing Shariff Musa has revealed his primary target after joining the Football Kenya Federation Premier League reigning champions.

Musa was unveiled recently after completing his January transfer move from Bidco United to K’Ogalo, and he has now stated what his ambition is.

“I am very ready and here to win,” Musa said.

The forward, with three goals for Bidco United, whom he was attached to for six months, adds to the number of players in Gor Mahia’s attacking department.

The department already has Benson Omala, last season’s club top scorer, who is currently leading the Golden Boot race; Patrick Kaddu; Boniface Omondi; and Patrick Sibomana, who have all enjoyed a fairly big presence in the starting lineups.

Musa set for debut title

His arrival at the local giants coincides with the fine run K’Ogalo are enjoying in the current season. They lead the race with a 10-point gap, and the odds are for them to defend the title, which means the new signing could end up lifting his maiden trophy in his debut campaign.

Musa was signed by Bidco United from Kariobangi Sharks who brought him forward to the Premier League scene from Soy United.

Before he joined Gor Mahia, he had been linked with Premier League sides Bandari and Kenya Police.

In recent seasons, Police have been Gor Mahia’s big rivals in the transfer market, and before the current term began, they tussled over Tyson Otieno, who eventually chose the Cops over K’Ogalo.
