Former Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa says she is worth Ksh 100 million.

Jumwa said this on Tuesday, October 18 during her vetting for the Public Service, Gender and Affirmative Action cabinet secretary position by the National Assembly’s Appointments Committee in parliament.

“I’m worth Ksh 100 million,” she said.

While responding to National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula about her current source of income, she said she is a pensioner.

“Do you have any current or anticipated sources of income?” the speaker asked to which she answered saying;

“Perhaps my pension from parliament.”
