Jeremiah Kioni rallies Jubilee base in Kilgoris, declares party strong and unshaken
Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Jeremiah Kioni has renewed his party’s grassroots push, meeting supporters in Kilgoris and calling for unity and people-centred leadership as political activity begins to build across the country.
His message focused on reconnecting leadership with ordinary citizens and strengthening the party from the ground up.
The statement was shared on Friday, April 3, 2026, after Kioni, who served as the party secretary general before being elevated, spent part of the Good Friday holiday engaging Jubilee supporters in Kilgoris, where he held discussions on leadership, unity, and the party’s future direction.

Kioni reflected on the kind of leadership he believes the country needs, pointing to a people-first approach that keeps leaders closely connected to citizens in their daily struggles and aspirations. The Jubilee party leader described the meeting with Jubilee supporters as a moment of reflection and renewed focus on the party’s core values and direction ahead of the upcoming political season, with the outfit gearing up for its manifesto launch.
“Someone told me that great nations are built when leaders walk with the people, not ahead of them. In the spirit of Good Friday, I took time to spend with the Jubilee Party family in Kilgoris, engaging in meaningful conversations on leadership, community building, and the continued strengthening of our great party. It was a moment of reflection, unity, and renewed commitment to the values that define us,” Jeremiah Kioni stated.
Jubilee remains strong
Kioni also used the moment to reassure supporters about the stability and strength of Jubilee, saying the party remains firmly rooted in representing ordinary citizens despite shifts in the political landscape.

“Jubilee remains proud, resilient, and firmly grounded in championing the issues of the mwananchi. We are a party built on the people, for the people, and we will continue to stand tall in advancing their voice and aspirations across every corner of our nation,” Kioni’s statement reads.
Jeremiah Kioni stated that his visit with other leaders shows the effort by the Jubilee Party to maintain its presence and rebuild momentum by engaging supporters at the community level, as the party positions itself for the 2027 general election.
