Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has confirmed that the party will launch its manifesto soon, signalling preparations for the 2027 general elections.

In an interview on a local radio station on January 22, 2026, Kioni said the document is being finalised through broad consultations to incorporate public input.

“We will be launching our manifesto, not today, not tomorrow, but very soon. Bado tunaskiza watu, kuskiza maoni yao kwa sababu sio mtu mmoja ambaye ako na jukumu,” he stated.

Focus on education and youth

This comes amid Jubilee’s active engagement in by-elections, including nominating Bina Mohamed Tupi, daughter of the late Isiolo South MP Mohammed Tupi, for the February 26, 2026, Isiolo South parliamentary by-election.

Kioni highlighted key areas the manifesto will address, with particular emphasis on education and youth job creation. He stressed the need for credible and respected education systems, saying,

Mambo ya elimu, tunafaa kupeana elimu inayoheshimika ili yeyote anapotoa cheti either internationally or locally, it should not be questionable.”

On employment, he called for effective management to ensure young people have access to job opportunities. “Lakini la muhimu ni we need a manager so that tuhakikishe kwamba hawa vijana wanaanza kupata kazi hapa na pale,” he said.

Kioni also emphasised functional systems across sectors, noting, “Let the systems work, from health, education,” as central to Jubilee’s vision for national recovery.

National unity and ideological positioning

The manifesto launch aligns with Jubilee’s broader ideological stance as an opposition force advocating national unity. On January 14, 2026, Kioni posted on X that the party had adopted a unified approach.

The party aims to honour a legacy of loyal, development-focused leadership while building a platform of ethical governance and inclusive development. With consultations ongoing and the manifesto imminent, Jubilee seeks to present clear policies on education reform, youth empowerment, healthcare, and systemic efficiency, addressing issues central to Kenya’s economic and social challenges ahead of the 2027 elections.

“Jubilee has a clear, unified agreement: we will always approach issues from a national perspective. Our ideology is simple and firm: Kenya first! not tribe, class, or religion.” He pledged to end divisive politics and insisted on substantive national discourse, stating, “We are committed to uniting our country and ending the cycle of divisive politics that has held us back for far too long. We know better.”
