UDA threatens de-gazettement of West Pokot MCAs over party irregularities
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has threatened to take disciplinary action against four nominated West Pokot Members of the County Assembly over engaging in irregularities at the grassroots level of governance.
In a statement released on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, UDA confirmed that Elijah Kaseuseu, Grace Loupa, Esther Chepution, and Veronica Loria risk punishment for engaging in irregular removal of another member from committees and the county Public Service Board.
”The following nominated members have been summoned to the party to answer to charges of engaging in irregular removal of another member from committees and the county Public Service Board. Punishment could include degazettement. UDA said.
Further action may be taken if the members fail to adhere to party regulations and disciplinary expectations.
