At the special occasion, Ruto rocked the maroon, white, and grey attire along with Nandi County Governor Stephen Sang and the Immigration PS Belio Kipsang to showcase their unity in celebrating the key anniversary.

“I joined this great institution around this very time of the year in 1985 as student number 5065 in Form Five and became a resident of Cheruiyot Dormitory, Solai House,” he recalled.
On his part, Ruto described the Centenary Celebrations as a milestone of Kapsabet Boys School’s rich legacy of nurturing men of integrity, purpose and ambition.

The President announced his commitment to expanding the institution’s facilities to ensure more students benefit from the school’s tradition of excellence.
According to Ruto, his commitment includes the construction of a science complex, an additional 40 classrooms, a 1,000-bed capacity hostel, and the hiring of 20 teachers.
