KMTC sets deadline for graduates to collect certificates
Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has set a deadline for graduands to collect their certificates.
In a statement shared on its social media platforms on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the medical training institution informed graduates who are yet to pick up their certificates to do so at the KMTC Headquarters in Nairobi.
The college noted that only graduands who have fully completed the required clearance process will be allowed to collect their certificates by the end of Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
KMTC urged the affected graduates not to miss the opportunity to secure their academic credentials, warning that the collection window will close at the end of the day.
KMTC has also urged them to first clear with their areas of study before proceeding to the headquarters for certificate collection.
“Attention Graduating Class of 2025, Today is the final day to collect your certificates! If you haven’t picked yours up yet, make sure to head over to the KMTC Headquarters in Nairobi before the window closes. Ensure you have completed your clearance with the college. Don’t miss out on securing your hard-earned credentials. See you there!” read a statement by KMTC

KMTC graduation
The announcement comes weeks after KMTC held its graduation ceremony at Kasarani Stadium. The event was attended by senior government officials, including Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, alongside top officials from the Ministry of Health.
While speaking during the event, Kindiki promised that Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) funding will soon be extended to KMTC colleges.
He vowed to take up the issue and ensure medical students who have long survived without HELB support, unlike learners in other tertiary institutions, begin receiving the loans to help them with their education and welfare.

Kindiki further assured the students that he will convene the required stakeholders next week, including the Health Cabinet Secretary, the Finance Cabinet Secretary, and the Cabinet Secretary for Education, to agree on the modalities and formulas on how KMTC students will start accessing HELB loans.
“Mimi nimeambiwa ya kwamba wanafunzi wa KMTC hawapati HELB loan; serikali imesikia hio ombi. Mimi naenda kusanya wale wanahusika: Waziri wa Hazina, wa Afya na Waziri wa Elimu wiki ijayo,” Kindiki said.
