Emurua Dikirr Women’s Empowerment Funds safe, former MP’s aide reveals
Former personal assistant to the late Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament, Johanna Ng’eno, Benard Ng’eno has confirmed that all empowerment money for the women is safe and accounted for.
Speaking during a morning radio broadcast on Thursday, March 12, 2026, Ng’eno announced to the public that the funds are currently under the stewardship of Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu.
Ng’eno stated that the late MP was in a meeting with the governor, and he had assured him that they will do the disbursement together to the Dikirr women.
“What I want to assure the women of Emurua Dikirr as an officer who worked for Ng’eno is that your money is safe in the hands of the governor, Patrick Ole Ntutu, who was told by the late MP that they will disburse the money together,” Ngeno said.

Ng’eno revealed that prior to his passing in a helicopter crash, the late MP had held several strategic meetings to ensure the continuity of his vision to empower all the women in the region.
Channelling Empowerment Funds
According to Ngeno, the MP had stated that the empowerment funds would be channelled directly to the constituents as planned.
“The disbursement plan remains intact; Ngeno had already laid the groundwork with Governor Ole Ntutu to disburse these funds to various organized groups in the constituency,” Ng’eno stated.
He said that despite being pressured by the residents to disburse the money, Ngeno disbursed the money in some wards in order to show the public that their money is still safe.

The personal aide said that the disbursement in wards, including Ilkerin, Mogondo, Kapsasian, and Ololmasani, was done fairly.
He said that the late MP had plans to group the women in the region and disburse the money for a project that would keep them busy and earn money.
“Ng’eno had various plans; he did not want to give the women money in cash, but he wanted to group them to start a project that would ease their way of life and at the end, have money in their pockets,” Ng’eno said.
Helicopter Crash
Kenya received devastating news of Ng’eno’s death on Saturday, February 28, 2026, when a helicopter crashed in the Chepkiep area of Mosop Sub-County, Nandi County, killing all six people on board.

Among the victims was Johana Ng’eno Ole Kisiara, the Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr Constituency in Narok County.
The helicopter burst into flames after impact in a densely forested area.
