Olekina urges Gachagua to drop political fights and focus on business
Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has issued a public plea to the former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, to let go of past grievances and focus on rebuilding his future outside public office.
Taking to his X account on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Olekina suggested that the pain from the past has become a burden that is weighing him down, and that it is time for a new chapter.
“Dear Riggy G, you’ve been carrying pain from the past for too long, and it’s weighing you down. It’s time to let it go,” Ledama wrote.

He said that Gachagua should be focused on personal peace and private enterprise.
Shift to Business
Ledama said that Gachagua can still find purpose and success in the future, especially in private businesses, maintaining that the past can’t be changed.
“The past can’t be changed, but your future can still take shape in new ways. Maybe not in public office, but there’s still purpose, peace, and success waiting for you,” Ledama said.

He further called on the former deputy president to tone down political confrontations, urging him to put the gun down and redirect his energy towards his business interests.
Please put the gun down and focus on your businesses your story isn’t over yet,” Ledama said.
