Kenyan Premier League side Shabana FC has issued strict demands to the club’s supporters in a bid to maintain order ahead of the team’s 2025/2026 league opener against the newly promoted outfit APS Bomet on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Gusii Stadium.

In a club statement issued on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Shabana advised the Tore Bobe faithful against destroying the stadium property and also cautioned the club’s supporters against wearing fake jerseys on matchday.

‘Vandalising stadium property is highly prohibited. Take care of the stands, say NO to counterfeits, and support the club. Support the game, buy original, and wear with pride. Throwing of objects to the field of play is prohibited,” the statement read in part.

Shabana also asked fans to remain in the stands and avoid invading the pitch, with those caught ignoring the regulations to be held accountable.

”Pitch invasion while celebrating a score is prohibited. If you are caught on camera undertaking prohibited actions, you will be held responsible. Ensure you are given a ticket each time you pay cash; that is the only way your money can be accounted for. If you see any shortcuts at the gate, raise your voice,” the statement added.

Shabana fraternity unites

This development comes after Shabana FC family united in faith and thanksgiving last Sunday, September 14, 2025, for a special Prayer Day at Koma Shrines in Nairobi.

Organised under the banner of Nairobi Fans Corner and spearheaded by the Shabana Charity Team, the event sought to bring together fans, players, and well-wishers in a moment of spiritual reflection and dedication ahead of the new football season.

According to a message from Kemunto S. Biage, representing the Shabana Charity Team, the gathering focused on three key intentions: road safety, improved livelihoods for members and their families, and the success of Shabana FC in the upcoming season.

Alongside AFC Leopards and perennial champions Gor Mahia, Shabana FC is one of Kenya’s most passionate community clubs and enjoys strong backing from its fanbase from the Gusii region in Nyanza and across the country. Shabana also unveiled its new squad for the 2025/2026 FKF Premier League season on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Gusii Stadium.
