Shabana FC to unveil new players on September 7
Football Kenya Federation Premier League side, Shabana FC has announced that the team will unveil its new squad for the 2025/2026 FKF Premier League season on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Gusii Stadium.
On the same day, dubbed Shabana Day, club supporters will get the first glimpse of the team that will represent Tore Bobe in the upcoming campaign. The event will also serve as a key fundraising platform to boost the club’s activities for the season ahead.
The occasion, organised in partnership with the club’s shirt sponsor, a local gaming firm, promises an action-packed day celebrating football, culture, and community. Among the highlights will be the launch of the sponsor/Shabana FC documentary, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the club’s journey, challenges, and triumphs.
The climax of the celebrations will be an international friendly as Shabana FC (Kenya) takes on Tanzania’s Pamba Jiji FC, a clash expected to draw thousands of Shabana FC supporters. Entry to the event is set at Ksh300 for regular tickets and Ksh1,000 for VIP passes, making it accessible for fans from all walks of life.
Shabana strengthens squad ahead of new season
Shabana FC have officially announced the signing of Humphrey Obino, a move aimed at strengthening the club’s attack ahead of the 2025/2026 FKF Premier League season. The club has also bolstered its roster with the earlier signing of Biron ‘Ngolo’ Otieno from Kariobangi Sharks.
Also, Tore Bobe Shabana FC has announced the acquisition of midfielder David Odoyo from Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Tusker FC. The Gusii-based club confirmed the signing through its X page this Saturday, August 16, 2025, as part of the team’s rebuilding phase ahead of the start of the new season.
“We are delighted to announce the arrival of David Odoyo, fondly known as Daddy CDM, who officially joins the Shabana FC Family from Tusker FC! A powerhouse in midfield, Daddy CDM brings grit, composure, and experience that will strengthen our engine room as we chase greatness this season,” a statement from Shabana read.
Last season, Shabana finished fifth with 53 points, the team will be seeking to pick up from where they left at last campaign and cement their position in the country’s top flight league.
