Former Sofapaka forward Ronald Okoth appointed as club’s new CEO
Former Sofapaka FC forward Ronald Okoth has landed a role as the Chief Executive Officer at the FKF Premier League.
Okoth who was part of the Gor Mahia squad that clinched the league title in 2013 confirmed the news on Tuesday.

Confirming the news on his social media accounts, Okoth expressed gratitude to Sofapaka FC President Elly Kalekwa for entrusting him with the position.
Excited about this new chapter, Okoth outlined his vision to lead Sofapaka FC to greater success. He emphasized his commitment to improving the club across various fronts, including securing sponsorships, enhancing youth development programs, bolstering marketing strategies, and optimizing commercial opportunities.
“Excited to embark on a new era at my former club Sofapaka as the new CEO. Honored & pleased to step into this new role with a purpose to spear more progress & success in the club. Special thanks to the Club President Mr Kalekwa for trusting me with this exciting opportunity,” Okoth shared on his account.
In his statement, Okoth rallied the support of fans and stakeholders, inviting them to join him in transforming Sofapaka FC into a powerhouse both on and off the field.
He expressed confidence in the club’s potential for resurgence and pledged to work tirelessly towards its rejuvenation.
