The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has announced a vacancy for the position of Team Manager for the Kenya Sevens national team. The new hire will play a key role in managing team logistics, administration, and operations as the squad prepares for major international assignments.

According to KRU, the Team Manager will report to the Director of Rugby or the Chief Executive Officer through the Head Coach. The manager will be expected to provide strategic leadership and ensure smooth coordination between players, coaches, and the KRU secretariat.

“The Team Manager, in consultation with the Head Coach, will provide strategic leadership to the entire team in line with the Director of Rugby’s direction and resolutions,” the Union said in the job notice.

Key responsibilities include handling all off-field operations such as logistics for training, matches, and travel, managing the team’s budget, supporting players’ welfare, and serving as a key point of contact for visa processing, facility assessments, and media relations.
