Global online sports betting and gaming company, 10bet, has donated football gear to former Premier League club Re-Union FC, as part of its ongoing efforts to support sports in local communities.

The sporting equipment consisting of 40 full playing kits, soccer balls, shin guards, goalkeeper gloves and a first aid box were handed over to the club during an event held at Ziwani Umeme Grounds.

Former Harambee Stars player and Re-Union coach Tom Ogwena said: “With the outbreak of Covid, our team suffered a great loss. It has been difficult to reach the standard of football that we believed we should.

“However, this contribution from 10bet will certainly take us many steps closer. We hope other companies will follow suit and take football in our communities to greater heights.”

Club Captain Dickson Gitahi thanked the company the equipment he said would help the team to achieve set objectives.

“Re-Union has groomed many soccer legends of our time. We have faith in the team to continue to produce more great legends with the aid of our contribution,” 10bet Kenya Manager Samora Waluchio said.
