Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed has sent a message of encouragement to the national football team, Harambee Stars, as they prepare to face the Ivory Coast in their final match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

In a statement shared on his official X account on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Hussein wished the team success and urged Kenyans to stand behind them as they take on one of Africa’s strongest sides.

“Wishing the Harambee Stars success as they face the Ivory Coast in their final round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers today,” he said.

The much-anticipated match will be played in the Ivory Coast at 10:00 pm, marking the last test for the Stars in a qualification campaign that has been as challenging as it has been promising.
