Tanzanian gospel group Zabron Singers has joined millions across the region in mourning the late opposition leader Raila Odinga, sharing a heartfelt condolence message that has deeply touched Kenyans online.

Through a Facebook post written by Japhet Zabron on behalf of the entire team on Sunday, October 19, 2025, the singers expressed their deep sympathy to the Odinga family and to Kenyans as a whole. Their message carried warmth, unity, and love, a reminder that humanity goes beyond borders.

“We know very well that you people have been there for us in every circumstance, and may God bless you all. Together, we are family,” wrote Japhet Zabron.

The group went on to express their condolences to Kenyans following the death of the long-time opposition figure. “On behalf of the Zabron Singers team, we send you our deepest condolences for your loss of your beloved political leader, Raila Odinga,” he stated.

Zabron Singers, best known for their hit song Mkono wa Bwana, have a massive following in Kenya and are loved for their uplifting gospel music. Over the years, they have performed in several towns across the country, often using their songs to preach messages of hope, peace, and faith.

The group’s message was not just a condolence note; it was a reflection of the brotherhood and regional bond that Raila Odinga inspired during his lifetime.

“May God continue to comfort you and your families in this difficult time. Amen,” he announced.

As the country prepares for Raila’s final send-off at Opoda Farm in Bondo, the words ‘together, we are family’ continue to echo as a powerful reminder that grief and love unite people beyond nations.

The Zabron Singers’ message stands as a comforting voice from Tanzania to Kenya, proving once again that in moments of sorrow, music and compassion can bring hearts closer together.
