Inauguration of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Parliamentary Caucus
The National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula is today expected to grace the inauguration of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Parliamentary Caucus.
The event is set to take place at the Serena Hotel, Nairobi from 7 am to 10 am.
Launch of Kenya Economic Report
The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) is today expected to launch the Kenya Economic Report (KER) at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi.
The event themed ‘Cost of Living and the Role of Markets’ is set to begin at 7.30 am and end at 11.30 am and the National Treasury and Economic Planning Cabinet Secretary (CS0 Njuguna Ndung’u will be the chief guest.
The purpose of the event is to provide evidence-based analysis and policy recommendations on the development of well-functioning markets through boosting production, macroeconomic stability, enhancing trade and distribution, boosting household earnings, financial access, infrastructure development, institutional transformation, and access to qualified market information.
Health Service Delivery Award Ceremony
The Nairobi City County Health Service is today expected to conduct an award ceremony at the Movenpic Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi.
During the event set to begin at 8 am, best performers in various dimensions within the health service delivery will be awarded.
The categories for awards include most improved health facilities, Level 2 dispensaries, Level 3 health centres, and Level 4 hospitals among others.
DP Gachagua meets Cabinet Secretaries, governors
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is today expected to meet Cabinet Secretaries (CSs), governors and disaster management partners to prepare for El Nino rains.
The DP will host the leaders at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi from 9.30 am
Edible oil crop promotion consultative forum
The Agriculture and Food Authority-Nuts and Oil Crops Directorate is today expected to hold a one-day consultative forum with county governors to collect views on the production of edible oil, processing and marketing.
This according to the agency, comes in line with the Kenya Kwanza manifesto on enhancing food security and economic growth.
The event will be held at the Lake Naivasha Resort from 8 am.
