A priest in Nyanza region has instigated the transfer of a headteacher of a Catholic school after she reportedly declined to give in to his sexual advances.

The teacher, a nun, has been sent back to the nunnery awaiting redeployment.

The priest, who wields power in the school’s administration, has in the past been accused of harassing female teachers.

The cleric often turns the tables on the teachers when they report, accusing them of seducing him.
