Police looking for six men who defiled minor in Bomet

Police in Bomet are looking for six men who defiled a 14-year-old girl in turns on Tuesday night.
Five of the suspects defiled the girl and after committing the heinous crime, abandoned her at a shopping centre at night where she was also lured by another man. The man defiled her the whole night and chased her away the following day at around 8am.
The Form Two student had been sent to the shop on Tuesday at around 2pm but failed to return home, prompting the mother to report to the police.
The girl later said she was lured by two men riding on a motorcycle who took her from Kyogong shopping centre to Dubai in Longisa, where the two men were joined by three other men.
The five men then took her to a mud-walled house where they defiled her in turns. After that, the two men who had initially picked her took her back to Kyogong centre at around 8pm. “She feared going home and started walking towards Bomet town and on reaching Kipchimatt supermarket, she met another man who lured her to his home where he also defiled her and spent the whole night with her,” police said.
The following day, on Wednesday, at around 8am the man chased her away and she decided to walk to Litein town where she called the mother and narrated to her the ordeal.
The girl was rushed to Longisa Referral Hospital for medical attention.
