The man accused of killing Ugandan singer Moses Sekibogo aka Radio, famously known for the musical duo Radio and Weasel, in 2018, has been found guilty.

The high court of Entebbe found Godfrey Wamala Troy guilty of manslaughter. According to Ugandan press, the prosecution contended that Troy beat up Radio on the night of January 22, 2018 outside De Bar Night Club in Entebbe and inflicted on him severe injuries that he succumbed to a few days later on February 4, 2018.

The judge also ruled Troy directly linked himself to the scene of the crime when he admitted he was present when the incident happened, although he had earlier denied ever touching the musician on the fateful night.

The has set Thursday, October 31, 2019, as the date it will pass Troy’s sentence for manslaughter, which carries a maximum of life imprisonment as per the Ugandan Penal Code.
