The dinner, attended by long-time party stalwarts, including President William Ruto and other officials, and guests, marked two decades since the party was formed.

Wanga described the celebration as not only a reflection on the party’s history but also a reminder of the values and principles that have guided ODM over the years.

The event comes at a time when the party is navigating both internal debates and the broader national political landscape.

Wanga’s statement emphasises the importance of learning from the past while inspiring a new generation of leaders to uphold the party’s ideals.

For Wanga, the founders’ dinner was more than a ceremonial gathering; it was a moment to celebrate the party’s resilience, reflect on its journey, and affirm its continuing influence on Kenyan politics.
