Saitabao Ole Kanchory tells Junet to shut up, cease attacks on Uhuru over 2022 election
Lawyer and political analyst Saitabao Ole Kanchory has criticised Suna East Member of Parliament (MP) Junet Mohammed over comments relating to the 2022 Azimio presidential election, calling on him to remain silent. Kachory said the matter is well documented and that Junet has no grounds to attack former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a statement shared on X on Sunday, January 4, 2025, Kachory said Junet should be the last person to talk about the 2022 election or even to attack the fourth President, Uhuru Kenyatta.

“The truth about the 2022 Azimio presidential fiasco is well documented. I took the trouble to write a whole book about it, which no one, not even Raila Odinga, ever contradicted. Junet should be the last person to talk about the 2022 election or to attack Uhuru Kenyatta. Wewe Junet nyamaza kabisa! Shenzi sana!” Saitabao Kanchory wrote.
Kachory’s remarks come after Junet Mohammed recently attacked former President Kenyatta and his aides for mishandling the payments and deployment of Azimio election agents in key regions, including Mt. Kenya and Luo Nyanza.

Kachory maintained that these allegations are baseless and reiterated that Junet has no authority to question Azimio’s 2022 election strategy.
“The facts are clear. No one has contradicted the documentation, including Raila Odinga himself. Junet should reflect before making public attacks that undermine the historical record,” Kachory added.
Kanchory urged party leaders and political commentators to focus on constructive debate rather than revisiting disputes from the last election cycle, which he described as thoroughly documented and settled in public discourse.
