Matiang’i opens Jubilee Party Kirinyaga office, rallies grassroots support
By Emmanuel Rono, June 30, 2026Jubilee deputy party leader Fred Matiang’i has opened the Jubilee Party’s Kirinyaga branch office at Ngomongo in Kirinyaga Central Constituency to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Taking to his X account after the launch on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Matiang’i said strong political parties are built from the grassroots, noting that the new office would enhance the party’s engagement with residents while expanding its presence across the county.

“Today, I officially opened the Jubilee Party Kirinyaga Branch Office at Ngomongo in Kirinyaga Central Constituency. Strong political parties are built from the grassroots, and this office marks another important step in strengthening our presence, deepening engagement with wananchi, and preparing for a better Kenya together,” he said.
The former Cabinet Secretary said the office will serve as a key centre for coordinating party activities, mobilising supporters and fostering closer interaction with local communities.
Gatundu office
On Friday, April 17, 2026, the Jubilee Party also opened the party’s Gatundu South constituency office at Wara House.

The event brought together party supporters and residents as the Jubilee Party intensified its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In a statement shared on his X account, he said, “This morning, I had the honour of opening the Gatundu South Jubilee office,” and added, “I later spent time with traders at the local market, listening to their concerns and hearing their stories. Their resilience is a powerful reminder of why we must build an economy that works for every Kenyan.”
Party nationwide expansion strategy
The Jubilee Party has embarked on a nationwide strategy to establish constituency and county offices across the country.
Offices have already been opened in regions including Narok, Samburu, Nakuru, Nyeri and Nyandarua. The centres are intended to support membership recruitment, voter registration drives, community engagement and coordination of party activities.
The Ngomongo office adds to the growing network of operational hubs aimed at strengthening grassroots organisations ahead of the 2027 General Election.
