Jubilee Party candidate McDonald Mariga has conceded defeat to ODM’s Bernard Imran Okoth in the Kibra by-election.

In a phone call on Thursday 10pm, Mariga congratulated Imran for taking an early lead.

He further promised him his full support.

In a tweet, Imran acknowledged the concession saying: “I’m humbled to have received a congratulatory call from @MarigaOfficial . That’s the spirit of politics. I promise to move forward with every interested party for the good of our people. God bless Kibra.”
