Cherargei hails UDA’s by-elections victory, predicts easy 2027 win for Ruto
Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has described the November 27 by-elections as a resounding endorsement of President William Ruto’s leadership, predicting that the Head of State will overrun his opponents in 2027 General elections without breaking a sweat.
In a series of posts on X dated November 28, 2025, the vocal UDA senator celebrated the party’s strong performance across multiple constituencies and wards.
“Congratulations to all the broadbased candidates for winning the by-elections yesterday in various counties, constituencies and wards. That was a mark of resilience, determination, hardwork and commitment during the campaigns. Go and serve the country with unwavering commitment and sacrifice for a better society,” Cherargei wrote.
He singled out the United Democratic Alliance for special praise: “To my party United Democratic Alliance (UDA) that was an exceptional performance led by party leader H.E Dr William Ruto and also a mark of absolute confidence by Kenyans in our party.”

Victory as a personal triumph for leadership
Cherargei framed the results as a personal win for the top leadership, stating: “The biggest WINNERS in these by-elections 2025 is President Ruto, Dp kindiki and broadbased partners,” while declaring, “The biggest LOOSERS in by-elections 2025 is dis-united opposition led by kalonzo, Gachagua, khalwale, sifuna, Natembeya, muturi, Matiangi and Uhuru kenyatta amongst others.”
The senator concluded with a confident forecast, asserting: “This is a clear indicator that President Ruto and Deputy President Prof. Kindiki will overrun his opponents in the 2027 General elections without breaking a sweat into his second term, Hongera washindi wote.”
