Tusker midfielder Chrispine Erambo has earned a call-up to the Harambee Stars team currently in camp for the African Nations Championship games.

With only six days to the start of the continental games, the combative midfielder has earned his call-up as Benni McCarthy’s charges step up preparations for the biennial tournament.

Erambo has been a regular face in the Kenya national team setup and was part of Charles Okere’s quartet that earned call-ups in March this year as Kenya stepped up preparations for the World Cup qualifiers.

Erambo joins Shabana FC attacking talent Brian Michira among the new call-ups to the Stars camp.

According to the Gusii-based club, Michira earned his nod to join the team on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

The attacker played a crucial role in Tore Bobe league campaign with a 17-goal contribution in the campaign. He was particularly influential in the FKF Shield Cup, where he netted five times.

Bien visits

Meanwhile, popular hitmaker Bien-Aimé on Monday, July 28, 2025, paid a courtesy call to the Harambee Stars squad ahead of their opening match of the CHAN tournament.

Harambee Stars posted a light message that all their enemies would be suffering, in reference to the musician’s song All My Enemies Are Suffering as the heartthrob visited to cheer them on as the continental games begin over the weekend.

“The President of the Bald Man Association, Bien Aimé, met up with us today and we agreed all our enemies must suffer this #TotalEnergiesCHAN2024,”

Kenya will open their CHAN games against DR Congo on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the refurbished Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, at 3:00 pm.
