AFC Leopards will host Mara Sugar in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match at Dandora Stadium on Sunday, November 10, 2024, amidst fan unrest.

The Ingwe fans have poured out their frustrations against the team for poor performances, and during their 2-0 loss to Ulinzi Stars at Kinoru Stadium, coach Tomas Trucha needed police escorts for safety.

After the incident in Meru, the club’s management issued a warning against the fans and vowed to take action against those who engaged in violent protest.

“We have taken immediate action by reporting the matter to the authorities, and several individuals involved in the incident have been identified. We will fully cooperate with law enforcement to ensure that those responsible are held accountable under the law.

“Furthermore, just as we have taken disciplinary action against players for misconduct in the past, we shall apply the same standard here. Any fan found guilty of participating in these acts of violence will face a ban from the stadium and club’s activities,” a letter by the management read.

As Ingwe hope to get back to winning ways and cool down the restless fanbase, they will face Premier League debutants, Mara Sugar, who have only lost one game in the top flight.

Elsewhere, Shabana FC will host Kenya Police at Gusii Stadium. Tore Bobe are in poor form and have registered not a single win since the season began. Changes in the technical bench have been made in order to try and help the former National Super League champions get positive results.

Kenya Police, who have played four games as compared to Shabana’s six, have also witnessed not a good run so far. They only have one win and three draws and are hopeful of piling more pressure on Shabana by winning.

Murang’a Seal will host struggling Kakamega Homeboyz at SportPesa Arena in another Premier League encounter. Homeboyz, second from the bottom, will be looking for their second win of the season while Seal are in the hunt for their third.

Finally, Bandari will host Bidco United at KPA Mbaraki Stadium.
