Kenyan youngster Silko nominated for EPL 2 award

Kenyan rising star Thomas Silko Amari has been recognized among the top young talents in the Premier League 2, earning a nomination for the Player of the Month award for March.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who plies his trade with Leicester City, showcased his prowess by netting a double in a crucial victory over Leeds United at the beginning of the month.

His goal-scoring form continued as he found the back of the net in a narrow loss to Everton and provided an assist in a draw against Aston Villa.
Amari will be competing against some stiff competition for the award, including 17-year-old forward Sam Amo-Ameyaw from Southampton, who played a pivotal role in his team’s unbeaten run with contributions of goals and assists.
Another contender, Sonny Finch, caught the eye with his performances for Middlesbrough, particularly in thrilling victories over Norwich City and Manchester United, where he showcased his attacking prowess with goals and assists.
Harrison Jones, a Sunderland midfielder, made his mark by scoring crucial goals and providing assists, while Jamie Miley from Newcastle United stood out with his creative playmaking abilities.
Fabian Mrozek, the young goalkeeper from Liverpool, played a crucial role in his team’s defensive solidity, keeping clean sheets against Reading and Manchester City.

Adrion Pajaziti of Fulham had an outstanding month, contributing significantly to his team’s goal-scoring efforts with impressive performances and goal involvements.
Lastly, Dylan Williams, a 20-year-old defender from Chelsea, showcased his versatility and defensive prowess with solid performances and contributions at both ends of the pitch.
Silko’s journey in football began at Chelsea’s youth academy before moving to Leicester City.
