Shabana urges fans to believe as winless run continues
Shabana FC has appealed for calm as the club wades through a spate of inconsistent winless streaks in the Football Kenya Premier League.
In a message on its media pages on Monday, November 3, 2025, the club promised to rise from its recent struggles after ending a spate of three losses with a barren draw against Kariobangi Sharks in the Week Seven games on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
“Together, we will rise. Let’s remain united,” the club statement read.
Tore Bobe enjoyed a sterling start to the season, winning a couple of its opening games against APS Bomet and Bandari to emerge among the early pacesetters of the 2025 season.
Peter Okidi’s charges have, however, experienced a dip in form in the recent games and remain winless in their last games.

The club has since fallen into eighth place with as many points after opening seven games.
Okidi has, however, expressed optimism that the club had turned a corner after snapping the winless run with a point against Sharks.
Hopeful Okidi
‘The best thing is we are creating chances, and I know it will finally click and we will be back to our best. We will now build on this point gained after three losses, and I am confident we will get the win in the next game,” he added.
Okidi further attributed part of the struggles to lay-offs occasioned by the injury of star man Brian Michira and others within the team.

“Odongo is back from injury, and the other striker is also not yet match-fit. Injuries have been our main undoing. I believe when we finally have those players back, we will be okay,” he added.
Against Sharks, the match was closely contested from the start. Shabana controlled possession at times and tried to use their experience to dominate, but Kariobangi Sharks defended effectively.
Their best chance came in the 81st minute when Austine Odongo’s strike was ruled out for an infringment prior to scoring.
