Shabana FC have announced a change in the much-anticipated FKF Premier League clash against Bandari FC, confirming that the game will now be played a day later than originally planned.

The fixture, initially set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 3 PM EAT, has been moved to Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Mbaraki Sports Complex in Mombasa.

In its official communication to supporters on X on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the club acknowledged the change.

“We regret to inform you that the much-anticipated match, Bandari FC vs Shabana FC, earlier scheduled to be played on Saturday, 27th September 2025, 3 PM EAT at Mbaraki Sports Complex, has been moved to Sunday, 28th September 2025, 3 PM EAT,” the statement reads.

The club went further to reassure its fans that the decision was unavoidable, even as it admitted the disruption it may cause. “Apologies for any inconvenience caused,” Shabana added.

The announcement comes at a time when excitement around the fixture is at an all-time high, with fans preparing to travel from Kisii, Nairobi, and other parts of the country to Mombasa.

Shabana, who has been building momentum in recent weeks, views this as another crucial test in their campaign. Every point matters for the Kisii-based side as they look to cement their presence in the league and push for a strong finish this season.
