Pressure mounts as Luanda Villa eye NSL Promotion
Luanda Villa Football Club head coach Tom Terah has told his charges that it is their time to join the National Super League (NSL) next season of 2023/24.
Speaking yesterday in Mumboha playing grounds after a match with Muhoroni Youths where Luanda Villa won 2-1, the tactician stated that his charges have overstayed in Division One, a move that is likely to kill some players’ motivations.
We have been in this Division one for three seasons and I feel it’s our time to climb the ladder to NSL. But this can happen if we are going to utilize our chances well on the ground more so in the remaining matches,” said Terah.
Currently, the Luanda-based club is at position two with 49 points below Green Commandos of Kakamega High, due to goal difference.
Terah (pictured) reminded the charge that it would be impossible for them to get promoted to the National Super League (NSL) if the team will not improve on striking to score as many goals as possible.
“You have to up our game on striking force so that we can have all the points and enough goals to put as at the top of the table.”
