Nairobi United has congratulated its members honoured for their exceptional performance and service as the club wrapped up the season with an awards gala held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Mombasa County.

The event to recognise the team’s impressive double-winning feat in the 2025 season saw several individual and team awards handed out.

 The club has since congratulated the winners of awards, congratulating them for their roles in the remarkable season.

“Yesterday was a night of celebration as we honour the outstanding achievements from our 2024/25 campaign at our esteemed awards night & official closing ceremony. A heartfelt congratulations to all our exceptional players, dedicated technical team, distinguished winners, and our formidable management, who orchestrated this magnificent event. Here’s to future triumphs and greater success,” the club statement read.

Dancan Omalla, Enock Machaka, and Isaac Omweri were among those feted during the colourful ceremony after the club earned promotion to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League and clinched the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup.

Midfielder Isaac Omweri took home the ultimate crown after being named the club’s Most Valuable Player of the season.

The highly rated midfielder, who earned a total of 24 G/A, spoke of his elation after bagging the award.

“I want to thank God for His grace and favour throughout this season; without Him, none of this would be possible.

“To my incredible teammates and the entire Nairobi United family, I am deeply grateful for your support, belief, and unity on and off the field. You’ve all played a part in this great milestone, and I’m truly honoured to be crowned the Most Valuable Player of 2025. This award is ours,” the player said.

Also feted during the gala were Enock Machaka, who took home the goal of the season, and South Sudan international Daniel Bichiok, who was named the best defender.

 Machaka proved an instrumental player in the team’s push for promotion and dispatched the decisive goal in the FKF final against Gor Mahia.

Other awards included Gideon Otieno, who took home the Most Disciplined Player award. The Best Attacking Midfielder went to Michael Karamor, while John Otieno, who traded Sofapaka for the NSL, was named the Best New Signing of the club.
