Moses Shumah completes move to Zambian giants Power Dynamos

Kakamega Homeboyz goal poacher Moses Shumah has completed a move to reigning Zambian champions, Power Dynamos FC.
The Zambian giants have confirmed the acquisition of the Harambee Stars attacker on a two-year deal on Friday, July 4, 2025.
The striker joins the Aba Yellow from a stellar campaign after finishing as the top scorer in the 2024/25 Football Kenya Federation League with 17 goals.
“Power Dynamos Football Club (PDFC) is pleased to announce five new acquisitions to reinforce its squad as it prepares for the 2025/26 MTN-sponsored Zambian Premier League (ZPL) season and the Confederation of African (CAF) Champions League.
Top scorer
Among the new signings is Moses Shumah, the Kenyan league’s top scorer with 17 goals in the just-ended season from Kakamega Homeboyz Football Club. His addition to the club is expected to bolster our attacking options,” a statement from the club on July 4, 2025, read.
The striker has linked up with four other new additions to the team ranks as the team reinforces ahead of featuring in the continental games for the coming season.
“Samuel Ayodeji Bamidele, a central defender, joins the Aba Yellow from Nigeria, while Innocent Kashita, an attacking midfielder from Nkwazi FC, also joins the team. Kashita was the runner-up in the Betway Player of the Season awards, narrowly missing out to Owen Tembo. His creativity and vision on the field will be invaluable to our midfield.

We also welcome Daniel Adoko, a midfielder from NAPSA Stars, and Ronnel Manyanga, a Zambian right winger who played in the Botswana Football League. They bring to the team a wealth of experience and skill that will enhance our squad’s depth,” the club stated.
Dynamos finished top of the Zambian Super League, earning the honours to represent the country in the CAF Champions League games.
The Kitwe-based club, which host their home matches at the Arthur Davies Stadium, bagged the 2024/25 league title after finishing on 68 points, five points ahead of their Ndola-based rivals Zesco United FC.
Shumah and his new team will travel to Johannesburg, South Africa, later this month for their pre-season training camp.
