Mediamax set to air Kenya Open
Leading Kenyan media house Mediamax is the official press partner for the 55th edition of the Magical Kenya Open set for the par 71 Muthaiga Golf Club between Thusday and Sunday.
Kenya Open Golf Limited (KOGL), the esteemed organizers of the Magical Kenya Open (MKO) golf, has announced Mediamax as the official Free-to-Air (FTA) partner for the prestigious golfing event that has attracted a large entry of 144 participants that includes nine local professional players and four amateur players.
The tournament which will be in its 55th edition this year, will be curtain raised by a Golf for the Disabled contest that tees off this morning and will see 10 participants take part, for the first time on the continent.
The announcement comes in the backdrop of a successful broadcasting of the Magical Kenya Ladies Open, the only Ladies European Tour (LET) – sanctioned women’s professional golf competition in the East and Central African region, which was held at the Baobab Golf Course in Vipingo Ridge, Kilifi County last week.
