KCB bullish ahead of FKF PL resumption with win over Kefwa

FOOTBALL: KCB FC had to come back on two occasions to defeat KEFWA FC 5-2 in a friendly clash at the KCB Leadership Center, Karen yesterday.

The bankers who were full of guile and effort leveled Majak David’s effort in the first half through James Mazembe before Haniff Makale scored an own goal to give KEFWA a 2-1 lead.

Kenyan international full-back Harun Mwale squeezed a through ball to forward Enock Agwanda who finished the move sumptuously that saw the scores stand at 2-2 during the half-time break.

Commenting after the game, KCB FC Head Coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno said: “Once again, we’re happy with the win as it gives us the confidence to face our opponents as we move closer to the start of 2022/23 Kenya Premier League season.”

KCB showed their strength and might in the second half when midfielder Michael Mutinda who captains the team forced a thunderous shot to make it 3-2 before duo Michael Oduor and Hillary Dukussy scored the fourth and fifth goals respectively.
