Harambee Starlets squad to face Morocco named

Coach Beldine Odemba has named the Harambee Starlets squad that is set to play Morocco’s national women’s team during the next international break.

Odemba has left out Marjolen Wafula Nekesa, Cynthia Shilwatso, and Jentrix Shikangwa, while Junior Starlets’ Elizabeth Ochaka and Christine Adhiambo have earned their first senior call-ups.

The two starlets have been integrated into the national team setup following an impressive campaign that included appearances at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

Jackline Chesang from Trinity Starlets and Diana Cherono of Vihiga Queens have been given their debut call-ups. The two have been impressive in the FKF Premier League season.

Mwanalima Adam and Violet Wanyonyi are the foreign-based players who have been included in the team.

The first game will be played on November 29 at 8:00 EAT before the second game is held on Tuesday, December at 1:45 EAT.

Harambee Starlets will travel to Morocco on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
