Gor, AFC set for new opponents after derby postponement

Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards are angling for Kenya Premier League action in two of the rescheduled league matches starting this Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
The two were expected to light up the weekend action with the highly anticipated Mashemeji derby on Sunday, March 2, 2025, before its cancellation.
Leopards will set off the pace with a clash against league leaders Police FC on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 4:00 PM.
Gor, on their part, will visit Kariobangi Sharks at Dandora Stadium on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Fifth-placed, Ingwe heads to the clash on the back of a 2-1 victory over Mara Sugar and Fred Ambani’s side will be keen to extend the streak and maintain their stealth run behind Gor Mahia.
The Kenyan footballing nemesis are separated by only two points.
Meanwhile, Police who had their winning march derailed with a 1-0 defeat to Mathare United, subsequently bounced back with a win over Bidco United in their last assignment.
The law enforcers currently lead the standings with 41 points. They have played a game less than Tusker who are second and match their 41 points tally.
Meanwhile, Gor Mahia will be out for a return to winning ways after dropping points in their previous league outings.
