Githurai confirm Evans Juma’s move to KCB Football Club

Githurai All Stars have officially confirmed the departure of Evans Juma to FKF Premier League side KCB Football Club.

The club announced that Juma has successfully signed with KCB, and they have officially released him from Githurai All-Stars.

Githurai says they would have preferred him to stay but expressed pride in seeing him progress to play at the highest level in Kenya.

“We are pleased to announce that one of our key players, Evans Juma aka Daddez, has now officially been signed by KPL side KCB Football Club. We have released him as a club and wish him well in his new assignment. His commitment, hard work and abundant talent has won him the hearts of many of our fans who would have wanted him to stay but for the better good of his career, we are glad and proud to see him play at the highest level in Kenya. Make us proud bro, we are behind you,” the club announced.

In addition to Juma’s move, KCB FC recently welcomed several new players to their roster. Victor Omondi, a winger returning from Rwandese outfit Musanze FC, and Henry Onyango are among the notable players making a comeback to the club.

Collins Neto, a seasoned player with a decade of Premier League experience, has joined from Muhoroni Youth FC on a six-month deal.

KCB Football deals

Francis Oduor, a defender formerly with Bidco United FC, signed a one-year deal with KCB. The club has also bolstered its defensive department with the acquisition of 19-year-old centre-back Lameck Luhangala from Musingu High School, who signed a two-year contract.

In the attacking department, Vincent Ondabu, a winger from Equity FC, has joined KCB on an undisclosed period deal.

Additionally, Shadrack Wamalwa Simiyu, a striker and former Compel Football Club player, has become part of KCB.

Simiyu, who scored nine goals in the FKF Division One – Zone B league and emerged as the top scorer in the Cleo Malalah Super Cup with 13 goals, strengthens the team’s attacking options.
