Equity Hawks returned to winning ways in style by defeating the Trailblazers 3-1 on the third day of Men’s Volleyball League competition on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.

Hawks achieved the feat by winning the first two sets 25-19 and 25-17, before the visitors bagged the third set on game point to win 26-25.

The determined side, however, had the last laugh, clinching the fourth to slam the door on the Trailblazers at 29-27.

Early pacesetters

The result saw Equity join Kenya Prisons on the wins after the latter continued their dominance in the league by defeating newly promoted Eldowas in three straight sets.

With the win, Kenya Prison joined the Kenya Airports Police Unit (KAPU), the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), and the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) among the triumphant teams in Saturday’s early games.

The trio are now among the early pacesetters of the league as action moves to day four of the clashes this Sunday, November 9, 2025.

In the six fixtures slated for the day, unbeaten Kenya Ports Authority will face Eldowas in the opening fixture at 8:00 am.

The Dockers will be out to make it four wins in a row against the debutants, who are in search of their first win.
