KDF, KPA, KAPU set early pace in Men’s National Volleyball League
The Kenya Defence Force (KDF) volleyball club, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), and KAPU have emerged as the early pace-setters as action of the Men’s National Volleyball League entered its day three on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The Kenya Airport Police Unit (KAPU) extended their winning streak by defeating the National Youth Service 3-1 (30-28, 24-26, 25-18, 25-19) on Saturday morning at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.

The victory sealed a second win after the club stunned champions GSU in their opening day of the National League kickoff on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
KAPU pulled off the upset in a 3-2 scoreline to topple the defending champions, GSU, on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
The Police team was joined on the win by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and Kenya Ports Authority, among the triumphant teams in Saturday’s early games.
KDF edged Prisons Nairobi to extend their winning streak, as KPA also remained unbeaten in the league after defeating Rift Valley Prisons.
The coastal-based Dockers triumphed in three straight sets to silence RV Prions 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-16).
KPA had dispatched Trailblazers with a straight set score of 3-0 in their opening game before extending the winning action against RV Prisons
On their part, KDF dispatched the wardens in a commanding straight-sets score of 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-16) to record their third straight win of the league.
Meanwhile, Prisons Nairobi slumped to the loss after opening their campaign on a winning note against the National Youth Service (NYS) 3–2 in another pulsating five-set encounter on Thursday.

Prisons claimed a decisive 3-0 win, extending their win that kicked off with a triumph over Equity Bank with a score of 3-1 on Thursday night.

In other ties, Debutants Chema Volleyball Club made a strong statement in their first appearance in the top-flight league by securing a convincing straight-sets victory over the National Youth Service (NYS) at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani Indoor Arena.
Meanwhile, fellow debutants remain in search of their maiden win after a narrow defeat to KDF.
