Saturday fixtures

The weekend kicks off on Saturday with Mara Sugar welcoming Bandari to the Green Stadium in Awendo at 2:00 pm. Mara Sugar will be looking to capitalise on home advantage, while Bandari will aim to bounce back and solidify their place among the top contenders.

At 3:00 pm, straight from continental assignments, Nairobi United will host 2009 champions Sofapaka at Dandora Stadium in what is expected to be a closely contested fixture between two sides. At 3:00 pm, defending champions Kenya Police will clash with Sammy (Pamzo) Omollo’s Posta Rangers at the Police Sacco Stadium, a fixture that could see the Police side unleash their arsenal after bowing out of the CAF Champions League preliminaries.

AFC Leopards, still chasing consistency, face Mathare United at Nyayo Stadium in what promises to be one of the standout games of the weekend, as Ingwe won their second match on the bounce against Shabana on Wednesday, while Mathare United surrendered to Gor Mahia on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Murang’a Seal will square off against KCB at the SportPesa Arena, with both teams eager to maintain consistency in the league as well. The round will conclude with a heavyweight clash between record champions Gor Mahia and the struggling soldiers of Ulinzi Stars at Kasarani Stadium, starting at 4:00 pm, another live TV broadcast.
