AFC Leopards add new coach to technical bench ahead of 2024/25 season
AFC Leopards have announced the appointment of Kenneth Wendo as the club’s new second assistant coach ahead of the upcoming season.
Wendo, a former AFC Leopards player, has signed a one-year contract that will keep him with the team until August 2025.

He joins the technical bench after leaving his previous role with the Tusker FC Youth team.

“AFC Leopards has appointed Kenneth Wendo as a new second assistant coach. The former AFC Leopards forward will be joining Fred Ambani (1st Assistant Coach), Haggai Azande (Goalkeeper Trainer), Vincent Mbwabi (Fitness Trainer), Josh Angatia (Analyst), and Tomas Trucha (Head Coach) on the technical bench for the Football Kenya Federation Premier League 2024/25 season. He joins us on a 1-year contract. Welcome to the Den, Wendo,” the club announced.
Wendo, who holds a CAF ‘B’ license, had a notable playing career with AFC Leopards, Mathare United, KCB, Tusker FC, and Wazito FC before retiring in 2018.
In preparation for the new season, AFC Leopards have also strengthened their squad with four new signings.

The club has acquired South Sudan national team captain Peter Maker Manyang Mabok, Julius Masaba, Samuel Semo, and Sydney Lokale.
These additions are expected to enhance the team’s capabilities and drive their pursuit of success in the 2024/25 season.
AFC Leopards will begin their campaign against newly promoted Mathare United on Sunday, August 25, 2024. The new signings are anticipated to play a crucial role in the team’s quest for silverware in the forthcoming season.
