Kindiki to meet MPs

The Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security will hold a sitting on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

The committee will meet the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Interior and National Administration Kithure Kindiki over the security situation in the North Rift and at the Kericho-Kisumu border.

Machogu to face MPs

The National Assembly Education Committee will have a meeting on Thursday, August 24, 2023, with Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on the New Education Funding Model.

National Polio Vaccination Campaign Launch

The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with UNICEF Kenya, WHO, and other health partners, is set to launch a 5-day polio vaccination campaign across Nairobi, Kiambu, Garissa, and Kajiado Counties from August 24 to August 28, 2023.

This event will be presided over by Susan Nakhumicha, the Cabinet Secretary for Health.

President Ruto’s Programme in Nyandarua and Baringo

President William Ruto will on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 10:00 am launch the construction of Maili Kumi-Shamata Road in Ndaragwa Constituency.

At noon, the President is set to issue title deeds in Kabartonjo, Baringo Central Constituency.

At 2:00 pm, he will launch the construction of Mogotio-Kisanana Road in Mogotio Constituency.

Preparations for Mashujaa Day celebrations

Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration Dr Raymond Omollo, will on Thursday, August 24, 2023, lead the National Celebrations Steering Committee in supervising the ongoing preparations for this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Kericho Green Stadium, Kericho County.
