The legislator asserted that Gachagua ought to shut up and watch how the government is run.

Shut Up

The Kapseret Lawmaker particularly took issue with what he termed as remarks by the politician that regions that did not vote for the government ought not to get developmental projects.

“You know that person whom we banished from the government. Every day when he wakes up, he speaks of Ruto. He said that this region does not deserve development projects since you did not vote for Ruto. He should keep quiet and see how the country is managed and run,” he stated.

Shares rhetoric

“You heard that guy of shares saying that we have no shares in the government. When the president came to Mandera, he(Gachagua) claimed that the president had gone to meet with Al Shabab. The president met with Mandera leaders like us and never met with Al Shabab. For him to call us Al Shabab, we say he must be condemned,” he stated.

The calls for Ruto’s re-elections took centre stage at the function with Kenya Kwanza-allied politicians vinidicating the government’s record.

The MPs lauded the government’s call to revoke vetting exercise for individuals seeking national documents like IDs, stressing that the requirement discriminatory.
