Senior Counsel Murgor: Expedite Ndichu assault case
Family of the women allegedly assaulted by two tech wizards now want the Inspector General of Police to expedite investigations into the matter.
Speaking on behalf of the victims, Cheryl Murgor and Stephanie Murgor yesterday, Senior Counsel Philip Murgor expressed concerns over the manner in which the case is being handled.
He wants a special team formed to investigate the alleged assault involving the twin brothers, Paul and Eddie Ndichu, because of the matter’s sensitivity.
“We are not blaming anybody but just concerned about the speed being taken before the matter is completed.
We expect the Inspector General to take swift action,” said Murgor, the victims’ uncle.
Murgor said since the incident, the two women have not been able to move on with their day-to-day hustles.
“These ladies are very talented; they run a fashion line by the name Murgor.
Since the incident, they have been unable to move with their jobs well as they are waiting for action. We want to see the brothers charged in court,” he said.

He said the family was determined to ensure the brothers pay for the damage they caused in one of the vehicles that was being used by the victims.
Senior Counsel further noted that despite the Ndichu brothers pleading to pay for the damages, they paid Sh110,000 via Mpesa only to reverse it later.
Speaking at a press conference, Cheryl and Stephanie narrated how they were attending a wedding after-party at Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi last weekend when the twins attacked them.
“We were just calm when they approached us . Actually, they started assaulting us after we resisted their talks,” said Stephanie.
Police have since confirmed that they received a complaint at Akila police station, Occurrence Book number 2/17/10/2021, in Nairobi South C, adding the matter was under investigation.
A senior officer, however, said the two parties had sorted out the issue of the damaged car.
Following the alleged assault, Kepple Africa Ventures, a Japanese VC Firm, announced it will revoke its investment in the firm worth hundreds of millions of shillings.
