Passport applicants in Bungoma County and neighbouring counties have found reprieve after President William Ruto opened the Bungoma passport application centre.
Marking as the ninth passport application centre, the establishment will offer convenience to area residents of Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega, Busia, Vihiga and Trans Nzoia.
The latest comes as part of the government’s efforts to offer convenience and ease for citizens and foreign clients to access government services.
“H.E. The President William Ruto has officially opened the Bungoma passport application center. This becomes the ninth passport application center in Kenya and will offer convenience to residents of Bungoma, Kakamega, Busia, Vihiga and Trans Nzoia,
“The expansion manifests a commitment to make it easy for citizens and foreign clients to access Government services and the facilitation of labour migration envisaged in Bottom up Economic Transformation Agenda (BeTA),” Ruto said.
